Losing a bad habit is harder than acquiring a good habit. I'm focusing on the later. Once you gain a good habit, it is important to make sure it sticks.
Each day of the week comes with different duties as well as choices. Here are some of the daily choices I am making in order to reach success
• Rest - I believe it is the secret to success in all life. I make better decisions and my body works better.
• Plan my meals - the better the plan, the easier it is to execute. My meals are mostly simple. I also plan when to say "no thanks" or "I'm not hungry."
• Packing my meals - I do this for my kids and also for myself. It helps me to stay on track and it saves me a lot of money.
• Ask questions - I ask myself daily questions such as "are you hungry?" and "will this food item solve your problem?" I find that the answers awaken my desire to move past the urge of the moment and reach my goal.
• Nutrition & Hydration - nutrition over point value is a daily choice as well as the choice to drink 1 gallon of water. The reason for so much water is marathon training. It's hot out there so I must drink enough every day. These two super powers help every area of my life.
